C3 Electrode

The C3 Electrode is our latest breakthrough in sensing technology, designed to make high-performance sensing simple and reliable. We use a Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) process to deposit a pure, high-quality pyrolytic carbon film onto alumina substrates. More user-friendly than other carbon electrodes, C3 Electrode features a clean carbon-based working and counter electrode, paired with an Ag/AgCl reference electrode.

Key Properties
of C3 Electrode

C3 electrode is biocompatible

Biocompatible

Designed for safe and effective interaction with biological systems, ideal for various diagnostic applications.

High surface area carbon electrode

High Surface Area

Maximizes reaction sites for enhanced detection sensitivity and analytical performance.

C3 Electrode enables accurate electrochemical sensing

High Sensitivity

Detects even trace amounts at very low concentrations, enabling precise and highly accurate electrochemical sensing.

C3 Electrode requires minimal electricity to operate

Low Resistivity

Requires minimal electricity to operate, reducing power consumption and enabling efficient, cost-effective performance in battery-powered or portable devices.

Binder Free Advantage

Unlike other carbon electrodes that rely on binders to hold active materials, the C3 Electrode is entirely binder-free. This means the pyrolytic carbon film is directly grown onto the Alumina substrate, eliminating the need for adhesives or conductive additives.

Pure
Surface

The pyrolytic carbon film is 99.9% pure carbon leading to cleaner, more accurate results.

Enhanced Electron Transfer

Direct contact between the active material and the substrate optimizes electrical conductivity.

Improved Performance

Leads to superior signal quality and better reproducibility for experiments.

Increased Stability

Reduces the risk of electrode degradation associated with binder breakdown.

C3 Electrode
Applications

Green liquid in tube for biosensing device development with advanced graphene technology.

Electrochemical Biosensors

Our pyrolytic carbon films have demonstrated highly sensitive and reproducible results in the development of electrochemical biosensing devices.
